Boxed-Up Packaging as a business always strives to be progressive in terms of customer service, quality and capability, technology and ways of working.
As well as valuing our customers, business trade partners and suppliers we also value our biggest assets, the employees whose hard work, commitment and dedication make our business the success it is.
In order to further recognise this, and to lead the way in employee health and wellbeing, Boxed-Up Packaging is delighted to announce an industry-leading change to ways of working which is intended to give our employees a better work/life balance while allowing us to continue giving our customers the first-class products and service they are accustomed to.
Following on from the successful trial period of a four-day working week in Manufacturing, we will now be extending this across the business.
From Monday 20th September 2021 the new core business hours will be:
Commercial – Monday – Thursday 7.15 am – 5.30 pm
Parcel collections can be arranged Monday to Thursday between these hours.
Pallet collections would need to be arranged in advance with collection before 4.30 pm each working day.
There would be no collections available on Fridays (or Bank Holidays).
Boxed-Up Packaging will no longer despatch orders on Fridays, but we will extend the order cut-off time to 1.45 pm Monday to Thursday for next working day delivery.
Orders received after 1.45 pm on a Thursday will be picked and packed the following Monday and despatched for Tuesday (except for Bank Holidays).
I hope you will join us in supporting the new, progressive working week.
