You’ve placed an order on Boxed-Up or are thinking about it. Naturally, you’re wondering what you can expect in terms of our packaging delivery terms to you.
All orders are shipped flat-packed for convenient storage and either shipped via courier or bulk freight, dependent on your order size.
Next Working Day Delivery as Standard**
Paid orders received before 3:00 pm Monday to Thursday & 11:30 Friday will be dispatched the same day*, using a next working day delivery service. (For Bulk orders please allow 48 hours for your order to be processed). Orders received after this 3:00 pm and 11:30 pm on a Friday cut off, or over the weekend will be dispatched the next working day.
Once your order has been collected from us by courier, delivery normally takes between 3 to 5 business days. We ask that you wait 7 days as this allows for any unexpected postal/courier delays. If you have not received your order within 7 days then please contact us via the support form on our website linked here.
For all deliveries to Scotland postcodes please note that you should allow a minimum of 48 hours for your order to arrive. We use a next day delivery service for all orders dispatched, but due to the remote locations involved in delivering to Scotland courier services take longer to reach you.
*Please allow a minimum of 3 to 5 business days for your order to be received across November and December. Deliveries to non-mainland locations may take longer due to extended shipping times. We will endeavour to uphold our next day policy, but due to the volume of orders received during these busy months, the orders will be dispatched in the order they are received, which on occasion can mean that your order may take longer to be delivered.
Ordering on Fridays, Weekends & Bank Holidays
Please note that our core business hours are Monday – Friday 7.15 am – 5.30 pm. Weekends and bank holidays are not considered to be working days. Orders received after 11:30 am on a Friday will be picked and packed the following Monday and dispatched for Tuesday (except for Bank Holidays).
On Bank Holiday weekends orders are dispatched the following Tuesday on a next working day courier service. Again, please allow 3 to 5 business days for your order to arrive.
Tracking Your Order
We use DHL and they will notify you via text or email once they have received your order, to provide you with an estimated time of delivery. All orders shipped will receive a tracking number unless shipped via Bulk. If for any reason this is not the case please Contact our customer service team, who will be able to help you further.

**Delivery to Zones C & D may take up to 2- 3 working days. Please allow extra time for your delivery, if you order from these areas. If you have any queries, please contact our sales team, who will be happy to help.
Bulk Orders (Pallets)
Orders which are equal to a pallet quantity are known as BULK (1000+). Bulk orders will still be shipped with an additional cost of £10 if in Zone *C or *D (*mainland only), please allow for 1 – 2 working days for your order to be processed and 3 to 5 days to be shipped via freight. All bulk order items will be sent on a Pallet and sent via a tail lift truck.
Please note that bulk orders need to be placed before 11 am Monday-Thursday. Any orders placed after this cut off time or on Fridays; will not be dispatched until Monday or in the event of a bank holiday, bulk orders will be dispatched on the next available working day
Collect From Us
For those customers of ours who live locally, you are welcome to collect from our warehouse in Wigan. Just select “collect from us” at checkout, and contact a member of the boxed-up sales team to discuss how to find our warehouse entrance and a suitable time for collection. Items that are to be collected will be hand picked. Please note – during busy times we ask that you allow up to 5 hours to collect your order.
Our core business hours for collection are Monday – Thursday 7.15 am – 5.00 pm and Friday 9:00am – 11:30 am
Parcel collections can be arranged Monday to Friday between these hours.
